It seems BananaPi has true SATA (100-120 Mb/s), bad to see.

I had 31 Mb/s through external USBSAT ...

On OPI-PLUS I had max of 36 MB/sec transfer with USB 3.0 drives (Toshiba 1TB HD, SanDisk UltraFit 64GB Flash drive, dd read with 1M block size).
When I tested simultaneous with drives connected to the same USB channel (internal hub), I had the total speed of ~45 MB/sec.
With drives connected to the two USB channel (usbhost & usb otg), I had the total speed of ~72 MB/sec.
So, using 3 separate USB drives in raid 0 configuration (on usbhost + usb otg + internal usb2sata), we could get the speed close to 90 MB/sec (36 x 3 x 0.85)

Orange PI-PC has 3 USB host connectors on 3 separate USB channels ( + usb OTG) !

So i must to have 3x2T HDD to get speed up to 90 Mb/s ? And configure program RAID0 to get it?! Very FUN )
Price for 3 HDD is equal to HP Microserver H8.

P.S. I have found BananaPi m1 board - will try to test speed on it.

I do..
1 .script_kernel.tar.gz extract to --> /media/boot/ ???
2. desktop_scripts.tar.gz, extract to -->/usr/local/bin
3. sudo cp /media/boot/uImage_OPI-2 media/boot/uImage

sudo: unable to resolve host OrangePI
cp: cannot create regular file ‘media/boot/uImage’: No such file or directory
root@OrangePI:~#

what I'm doing wrong?

I've only stated what you can get.
And you can have 3x300MB or 3x500MB hd (in raid0 configuration total capacity = sum of each drive capacity)
And you must know how to choose the hardware according to your needs.
And yes, I think solving problems is fun , and working with raid configurations is even more fun....

Have you extracted script_kernel.tar.gz to /media/boot ( why ??? "/media/boot/ ??? "
There was missing / in "sudo cp /media/boot/uImage_OPI-2 media/boot/uImage" it must be

sudo cp /media/boot/uImage_OPI-2 /media/boot/uImage

but you should realy be able to know that it was the mistake.
You don't need to use sudo if you are logged in as root.

I think the development boards like OPI are great for learning Linux.
There are thousands of tutorials and howto's for Linux in every language. Searh with google..

Well, your job is really need! Thanks a lot!
But choosing OPP i hadn't any information about SATA2USB bringe on it. There are no information about it on main page

Onboard Storage

TF card (Max. 64GB) / MMC card slot , up to 2T on 2.5 SATA disk
8GB EMMC Flash

Yes, my problem is - i want to get max for low cost. Who don't want it?!
OPP idea - good, production not at all.
You had said OPP2 will have 2 Gb RAM - good, same SATA2USB - bad, very bad! It's good "client" solution only, not server.

Official images (debian-server) are not completed, 2 cores are shutdown by regular by high temp reason, NFS-server support has gone...
I havn't tested new images yet, but ~30 Mb/s is too slow for my purposes...

P.S. I have mistaken with 3x2Tb, but 3x750Mb is needed.
