I cannot find the official RAM bus speed of the Orange Pi, I need it for a comparison table of Pi clones to help promote the Orange Pi.
Edit: I saw the main page has been updated, it says 960M, is that for all the Orange Pi models?

Is that the Mhz or MTPS as I've seen listed elsewhere?

it shows how much i know i have no idea what you are talking about, i now know how some people acted when i use to be a mobile service engineer and started asking questions and they just looked back with a blank face as if their brain had no idea and had to be rebooted to continue and i always thought i was speaking plain english but maybe i was speaking engineer language.

DDR3 RAM external speed is 480MHZ,infact is double,Rising edge and falling edge sampling.

OK that makes it a little easier to understand, i remember what there was only one speed for memory and all memory came on 8 chips each time and you had to solder them onto the motherboard yourself (ahhhh the good old days!!!!!!)

HAsnt changed all that much really. Still comes with (usually) 8 chips on a slab of pcb and most are still 1600mhz. They made more flavors but its essentially the same thing.

I am glad that orange pi went with two chips instead of a single 1gb chip.

But I do wonder, are they sharing the same bus or dual channel?

The Orange Pi is a versatile single-board computer widely appreciated for its customization options, including RAM bus speed. The RAM bus speed plays a critical role in determining system performance, influencing data transfer rates and overall efficiency. A higher bus speed ensures smoother multitasking and quicker application responses. Interestingly, enthusiasts have explored creative applications using the Orange Pi, such as generating Binaural Beat 528 Hz frequencies for meditation and focus. This frequency, known for its calming effects, can be integrated into audio projects powered by the Orange Pi's robust performance. Optimizing RAM bus speed enhances these experiences, ensuring seamless operation.
