Guys, my renewal came in +29% and I’m officially over it. Found a local Flower Mound company called Plan for Freedom that looks legit. They cover literally the entire state (DFW, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Corpus, the Valley, West Texas, Panhandle, everywhere). No “sorry, we don’t insure your county” nonsense.

My renewal jumped almost 30% this year, and I finally hit my breaking point. I ended up trying a smaller Texas agency called Plan for Freedom after a coworker recommended them, and honestly, it was a pleasant surprise. They didn’t play games, didn’t redirect me to random partners, and actually serviced my area without hesitation. They cover all of Texas — from Houston to El Paso — so switching was easy. For anyone tired of insane increases, looking into Texas home insurance companies like this one might be a smart move.

Same here in Austin — my renewal skyrocketed and my old carrier barely explained why. Plan for Freedom quoted me quickly, covered my ZIP without hassle, and the rate finally made sense.

I’m in Fort Worth and had the same struggle. Big insurers kept bouncing me around, but Plan for Freedom handled everything directly. Statewide coverage makes switching way less stressful.
