QA pros and devs, what's your go-to approach for defect management this year? I'm implementing strategies from Aqua's guide—early prevention via code reviews, comprehensive testing suites, and CI/CD pipelines for faster detection. Tools like Jira or aqua cloud for tracking? Struggling with subjectivity in prioritization or false positives from automation. Share your workflows, metrics (e.g., resolution time drops), and tips for Agile teams!

For defect management this year, my team focuses on prevention and clarity. We use code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines as Aqua’s guide suggests https://aqua-cloud.io/defect-management-strategies/  Jira works well for tracking defects, with clear categories and priorities. To combat subjectivity, we define severity levels and use reproducible test cases. Automation false positives are reduced by refining test scripts and adding manual verification for edge cases. Key metrics include resolution time, defect leakage rate, and cycle time. Agile retrospectives help refine workflows continuously.
